Main Winery Closing for a Private Event

Paint & Sip Barn Quilt Class
Class facilitators Stan and Kathy Tucker from K and S Quilts will be sharing this unique art form on Saturday, April 20th from 10:00-4:00. The cost of the class is $99 which includes all your supplies, a continental brunch and your choice of a bottomless Mimosa (from 10am to 12pm) or a glass of wine anytime during the class.
You will be able to complete your project in this one-day class, with six Barn Quilt patterns to choose from. You will receive 24″ x 24″ piece of aluminum composite material (ACM) pre-primed for painting, sketched with your chosen design. In addition, you will receive a digital outline and a colored digital drawing of your pattern to assist with your project. You will have several color choices available to paint your Barn Quilt, and each project has pre-drilled holes for hanging in your yard or home.
The registration deadline for this class is Wednesday, April 17th, so secure your spot for this one-of-a-kind experience!

Zinfandels: you either love’em, hate’em or maybe you just don’t know’em. Well it’s time to rediscover them! This month we will do a side-by-side comparison of Zins from three completely different regions. Zinfandels, believe it or not, are great food wines! Foods like zesty BBQ can overpower a red wine. But not a Zinfandel! And we’re going to put that to the test… let’s find out together and see how these Zins pair with boneless pork short ribs!

Mother's Day Brunch @ Grand Pines Reserve
Join us for a spectacular Mother’s Day Brunch at B|E Winery. This year we’ll be setting the tables in the Grand Hall of our event center, Grand Pines Reserve. The full buffet menu is still to be determined, but rest assured we will have all the usual suspects, plus a few surprises! Could it be crepes? Could it be a prime rib carving station? The Judgement of Paris
On May 24th, 1976 there was a spectacular blind wine tasting in Paris, France. Eleven of the most prominent and influential French wine critics comprised the panel of judges. Steve Spurrier, the owner of a fine wine shop in Paris, organized this tasting. He and his wife traveled to a little-known wine region in California called Napa. There, they gathered the best Cabernets and Chardonnays from small batch wineries to take back to Paris to be pitted against what were considered far superior French Burgundy and Bordeaux wines. At the end of the tasting, the scorecards were tabulated and the results were shocking to everyone in attendance. California had beaten the French and took the top spot in both Chardonnay & Cabernet! The outcome of this blind tasting put Napa Valley on the map and forever changed the landscape and assumptions of California wines.
Join us as we celebrate this historical wine event with a blind tasting of our own, again pitting top California wines against top-rated French wines. Not knowing the producer of each wine forces us to consider the liquid in the glass on its own merits, without any of the baggage that all of us bring to certain marquis names.
